Hi guys & gals, George Borden here.
At age 83, I’m conscious of the reality that my departure time is drawing near.
In that regard, I am presently distributing my prized and valuable items to family, friends and institutes.
One item to which I have not attached a recipient is my 3' x 6' PERI banner/flag bearing our badge, with diagonal tri-service stripes on a green background.
Dear and deceased friend, Wally Travis willed it to me. Now it’s my turn to pass it on.
I’m open to suggestions, by which it will be displayed in some meaningful manner, for others to see and reflect.
Now that our trade has been civilized, they might not understand the significance that it holds for we dinosaurs.
So let me know your thoughts, that I might decide wisely, on where to direct a heartfelt emblem of long ago happy times.

Sir, on behalf of the Organizing Committee for National PE&R Reunions which
are held in Kingston every two years, may I suggest that you loan it to us
until the reunions no longer carry on. Then we will ensure that it goes to a PE&R
Museum. Mr. Dave Ogilvie Chairman of the Organizing Committee would ensure that
it is always present at our National Reunions and that it is kept in a safe place.
For your consideration.
Respectfully,
Randy Cousineau
Hi George, Good of you to think of us all in your donation. The idea proposed by the Branch is a valid one. All the best to you.
Hi George
Thank the Good Lord that we all get there some time. I have donated a few items to the Military Museum in Borden and they were greatly appreciative of them, just a suggestion.
George, you can donate it to the PERIScope and we can offer it as a prize through the website. The idea would be to have a story or photo contest with the winner receiving the Branch Flag.
