Born in St John NB, Ken joined the RCAF in 1960 and subsequently qualified and re-mustered to the PERI Trade. He had served in BC; Manitoba and New Brunswick. He was an accomplished racquets, volleyball and basketball player who turned to curling and golf in his later years. He retired from CFB Gagetown in 1990 and was hired as the Assistant Services Coordinator for the Oromocto Department of Leisure Services eventually becoming the Adult Services Co-ordinator. He is interred in Fernhill Cemetery in St John NB. An annual memorial golf tournament has been held over the past few years in his memory.
