ZINCK, Bob 1929 – 2011
Born in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Bob attended school at Bridgewater High School, Horton Academy, Acadia University and the University of British Columbia. Bob had many Base and Headquarters postings and no matter where posted, he provided a positive impact on many officers and NCMs. Of particular note he was the driving force behind achieving our Branch status; an amazing feat when you realize he did it as Acting DPERA with the rank of Major. He retired in 1984.

He was my PERO while stationed at Stadacona; in Halifax, NS. I kept his car serviced and running at times when it needed it; I was the PTI Mechanic at that time; falling back on my Engineering Training as a RCE 1954-1967- PERI -1967-1978-READY FORCE-1978-1996.!
