As I was granted in 1985 (in Edmonton) the BPERO's permission with the approval of the S&R HQ in Trenton to jump with the S&R candidates, Don gave me a quick target CT-2 parachute jump refresher training for the incoming target jump and also it gave me a chance to add 5 more CT-1 parachute jumps to my log book with the airborne school. Don was a man of integrity about his work and his personality. Always willing to help us continuing our progression in the trade. It is too bad that he's gone, he was true to himself and others. I liked the guy.
