Just heard (26 Feb 2020) from Bart Fuerwentges that Dan had passed away within the past few days. He got the news from Bill Desaulniers yesterday.

We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Daniel Michael Twomey (Peterborough, Ontario). Family and friends can light a candle as a loving gesture for their loved one. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Daniel Michael Twomey to show support. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Mary; his children, Dan Jr. (Mary Ann) and Donnie (Valerie); and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Rachell, Emily and Rebecca. A mass will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (208 Romaine St, Peterborough, ON K9J 2C4). In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
