BEST, Bill. 1932-1993.


Born in St John NB in 1932 he joined the CF in 1952 as a member of the PPCLI. He re mustered to the PT 📷Cadre mid 50s. He had served in Calgary; Edmonton; Soest; Borden; Halifax; Winnipeg and Gagetown. After retiring in 1980 he was employed with Industrial Securities in St John NB. He was an active member of the Lions Club and the Jervis Bay Branch of the Royal Canadian legion. He is interred in St John NB.

Bill and I go way back to Chilliwack where he took an assistant PTI Course with the staff then; Butch Goody, Jim Leach a few more on staff then; he was PPCLI
