Born on Sept 29th, 1935 in Sturgeon Falls, ON Pete proudly served in the Air Force for 33 years. was an athlete and avid sports enthusiast winning many awards as an all-star pitcher and goaltender during his service career. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with family and friends and particularly enjoyed the stories (lies?) replayed around the campfire each night. After retirement, Pete developed a fascination with recycling and will be remembered by many Valley residents as the friendly “can man”...great for the environment and not bad for the pocket book either! Peter passed away on Sept 4th, 2009 at the Royal Jubilee Hospital following complications from heart surgery.
