Gord was a former member of the C Pro C.  As an Officer, he attended an Army Gp3 course and a Base PERO Course at the ASPT in 1963 then was posted to Camp Gagetown in 1964 as the Base PERO. An ex Winnipeg Blue Bomber and Saskatchewan Rough Rider he enjoyed many sports. After retiring to Victoria BC, he worked 20 years with Canada Post.
