LAVIGNE, Rheo. 1931-2005.

A former member of the R22eR, on his return from Korea in the early 50’s he attended a Unit PT Course and subsequently was taken on strength of the PT Wing (RCS of I) as an instructor, where he helped train many aspiring PERIs. In the 60's he was CFR'd from the rank of MWO. An avid smooth skater and hockey lover, he coached and played well into his sixties. With postings to Borden, Gagetown, Germany, Montreal, CMR and Ottawa, Rheo served for 37 years, retiring as a Capt in 1987.

My PT/Officer while stationed at CMR in the 60ies.! Remained in touch after our retirement; loved his wife; she also was supportive of PTI's.! We live across the street from one another at CMR.!
