Born in Brockville ON, Tom joined the RC Sigs in the early 50s. He transferred to the PERI trade in the mid 50s. A good all around athlete he excelled in track and field and gymnastics. Tom had served in Kingston, Borden, Gagetown, Cyprus, Germany, Ottawa and Petawawa.  He retired as a Sgt out of Petawawa ON.
