Affectionately referred to as "The Fonz," Donnie was a former member of the RCR and the Airborne Regiment. After qualifying on his TQ5 Course in 1977 he re-mustered to PERI 851 and was posted to CFB Edmonton. After several more posting and 26 years of service Donnie retired to Crystal Beach ON. Donnie passed away suddenly on 11 Dec 2011 at his home.
