Fred became a member of the PT Cadre in the mid 1950s after completion of his PT Course at the PT Wing (RCS of I). He had served in WW2 and was a member of the RCACS. A transplanted “Brit”, Fred was well known for his jovial attitude and sense of humour. In 1977 Fred retired as a WO from CFB Kingston and became a prominent restaurateur in Trenton ON. He was an active member of Branch 110 of the Legion and was scheduled to run for an executive position in the year of his death.
