Born on 5 May 1938, Herb Joined the Army and served with the RCR before remustering to the PERI Trade.  He served in Halifax, Stadacona, Dockyard (All East Coast) and finally retired from Shearwater. Herb was a strong competitive swimmer, free fall parachutist and loved the outdoors. He passed away on 26 October 2005.
