Charles Caldwell, affectionately know to us as Chick passed away on 13 April 2016 in Annapolis Royal NS. Along with other former PERI's Fred Williams, Chris Seymour, Bill Compagnon and spouses attended the funeral of our friend Chick Caldwell. His death was unexpected and was the result of a heart attack. The celebration of his life was attended by family, friends, colleagues, and the funeral home was overflowing with as many as 100 ‎people having to listen via speakers outside. It was a beautiful sunny Annapolis Royal day with temperatures around 16 degrees. Many of his current and former students spoke of their love and respect for Chick. The superintendent of schools for the Western Valley spoke of his unwavering dedication to the students, fellow teachers and referred to him as a true ambassador of education. We have lost a very fine man and friend.
