PARTRIDGE, Ronald 1936-2012.

Ron passed away on February 26, 2012 at home in Princedale NS. Born in Halifax, he joined the Canadian Forces as a member of the RCASC. After passing  several qualifying courses, he then transferred to the army Physical Training Staff as an PTI/PERI where he qualified as a paratrooper and also became an accomplished gymnast. During his 26 and half years in the Forces, he served in Borden; Gagetown, Rivers; the Army School of PT; Alert; Halifax and Cornwallis. He retired with the rank of Master Warrant Officer. Following retirement he did carpentry work and taught life skills to recruits at CFB Cornwallis. He was a very caring and thoughtful man who would help anyone. He enjoyed spending time working on projects around the house, operating his tractor, gardening and playing the piano.
