BOUDREAU, Claude 1950-2018

Hi Ken.  Don’t know if we ever crossed paths along the way.  I know lots of PERIs and got your coordinates from the PERISCOPE site.

Claude and I served in 1RCR together in the early 70s. In 1975, I remustered to MP while Claude went PERI.  Soon after we met again in Borden where we shared an apartment in Angus.  We lost contact and met again later in the 90s in Halifax.  Claude was a great friend and lots of fun.  So sad to hear of his passing.

Was reading the Cape Breton Post when I was shocked to hear of Claude passing  I trust you ensure the PERI world is informed…Take good care….Eli Aucoin

16 Jul 2018. It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of our brother Claude Raymond Boudreau, 68. Claude had a career in the Army and upon retirement worked in the wholesale business. He often volunteered his time to Christmas Daddies, Feed N.S. and Loaves & Fishes. He was predeceased by his parents, Rita (McMullen) and Alphonse Boudreau; brother, Garry; brothers-in-law, D’assise Laundry, Scott MacDonald and Norman Robar. He is survived by his sisters, Barbara Robar, Yvonne MacDonald, both of Sydney, Cathy (Gerry) Baker, Hammonds Plains and Eileen (Douglas) Poirier, D’Escousse; brothers, Stanley (Susan Kim Henebry), River Bourgeous and Michael (Angela) Boudreau, Arichat; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Claude loved sports, especially basketball. We can just imagine him up in heaven doing what he enjoyed best, organizing a team and competing with a huge grin on his face and loving it. Donations can be made in memory of Claude to Christmas Daddies, Feed N.S. or Loaves & Fishes. Online condolences may be sent to: www.mattatallfuneralhome.

This is a shock. I am so sorry to hear of Claude's passing.

We were roomies on the 1975 TQ5 and had lots of laughs and good times.

Rest in peace my friend.
