PERI Golf Challenge through Nova Scotia Valley

The fourth addition of the PERI Golf Challenge through the Nova Scotia Valley officially began Monday, September 10, 2018 with Art Stevenson, John Paterson ( Medicine Hat) arriving from Wassis, NB, and Steve Higginbotham from Dartmouth meeting in Windsor, NS to hook up with myself. After a quick lunch it was off to KEN-WO golf club in New Minas for 18 holes, we were joined by a couple of friends of Art's (Infantry) Darrel and Bob. Both Art and John started strong with 38, 40 fronts while Steve and I had 44,43, the back nine was much the same with Art birdieing 11 to go up by 4 over John before 3 doubles and a quad derailed his round, Steve and I stayed the course to shoot 90, 84 with John posting a solid 78 and Art coming in at 84. From here it was back to Windsor for the the Euchre challenge Ar/John vs Steve/Mike, last year in PEI Art/John destroyed us, so we had some ground to make up after listening to the both of them trash talking. But after the first night of cards Steve and I had made significant gains and were up 4 - 1. Mens sana in corpore sano
