Observations Weather was perfect (warm with sun and cloud) Shot gun start was on time at 1230 hrs Round was played by most in 5 hrs or under Room set was similar to previous years (food served on patio) The 3 sections of tenting was not required for dining but was used for registration The list of previous years participants in the joining instructions was appreciated, as were the current participants being included in the tournament guidelines provided to each player at the registration.


Highlights Barny Barnard (again) as master of Ceremonies The appearance of Elvis for the second time (former RCAF Rec Spec (53-65) Jim Cameron) The event included participants from Coast to Coast and as far South as Florida A record number of Mulligan tickets were sold ($1,208, previous high $1,096) The Mattress Mart donation by Joane Creighton (Hatt) was very much appreciated Karaoke went very well with the DJ doing a great job!
