In Memory Timothy Gerard Murphy

Writer: PE&R BranchPE&R Branch

Timothy Gerard Murphy June 9, 1955 – October 11, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that Cynthia and Austin announce the passing of their beloved husband and father. Tim was diagnosed with Metastatic cancer in 2021, and decided from that moment on that he would not give up and live life to the fullest. He met each day with gratitude and grace, continuing to exercise, play golf and travel with his family.

Tim served his country for 22 years, then went on to work for Personal Support Programs (DND) for an additional 17 years. Tim’s legacy is the kindness and compassion he demonstrated to all those he came in contact with.

Tim leaves to mourn his wife of 35 years Cynthia and Son Austin. Brothers, Robert (Ruby), Paul (Sandra), Chris (Joan), and Hubert (Karen) and sister-in law Barbara. Predeceased by his father Hubert and his Mother Mary, Brother Michael and sister Sharon. As well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
