George & Lovelette Borden at Cornwallis Reunion 2006

George Borden, Ret'd PERO and his wife, Lovelette, enjoy Saturday brunch on the occasion of the HMCS/CFB Cornwallis Reunion held in Deep Brook, N.S. August 25-27, 2006.

George was one of the few ex-PERIs who attended the 3 day "first ever" Cornwallis Reunion. He believes that many more Branch members who served at Cornwallis would have attended had they know about it...in time. So, let it be known, that a second Cornwallis Reunion is planned for August 22-24, 2008. George wishes to report that he failed miserably at the Rum Issue, despite a serious attempt to keep up with the old sailors.
