Currently living in Granby, QC. Following the death of my former wife, I took to writing poetry. They recount feelings we encounter in living our life. Happiness, love, death, caregiving, friendships. Now married to a nurse that I had met in 1964. She was a graduate nurse in Sherbrooke and I a student at Bishop's. Lived two apartment blocks apart. She lost her husband in an accident, 6 months before I lost my wife to Parkinson. Member of the Legion in Waterloo, QC. Branch 77. Have had 5 hip replacements between 2013 and 2019. Now I will be operated on for spinal stenosis. Narrowing of the spine that squeezes the nerves. Not recommended. Life in the Eastern Townships is great. Great hunting and fishing area as well as skiing in the winter. We are 30 minutes from the USA border

Each year we attend the Nova Scotia International Tattoo. held at Scotia Bank place in Halifax. For those who have never attended a military Tattoo, you are missing a great show. Participants from all over the world.
