O'Connor and Comeau arrived at CFB North Bay in Eisenhower Battle Dress uniforms and you can imagine the teasing we got. Honsinger too. He was in a Navy uniform - the "pigeons were aflocking!"

As I was posting this on the Forum under Xmas Cards and realized it was a young Paddy O'Connor in the picture and it reminded me when the Base Fin clerk called looking for him while posted in Greenwood. Paddy was out of the office and I just happened to answer the phone. When I asked what the message was... the Fin clerk wanted to know why he hadn't cashed any of his pay cheques and that they were about to become stale dated. When Paddy came back to the office I recall standing in the door way of his office relaying the message from the Fin Clerk, he pulled the top drawer of his desk open and there were…
