O'Connor and Comeau arrived at CFB North Bay in Eisenhower Battle Dress uniforms and you can imagine the teasing we got. Honsinger too. He was in a Navy uniform - the "pigeons were aflocking!"
As I was posting this on the Forum under Xmas Cards and realized it was a young Paddy O'Connor in the picture and it reminded me when the Base Fin clerk called looking for him while posted in Greenwood. Paddy was out of the office and I just happened to answer the phone. When I asked what the message was... the Fin clerk wanted to know why he hadn't cashed any of his pay cheques and that they were about to become stale dated.
