It was while reading about the Memory Wall, that I thought I would publish this poem I wrote last year. I wrote it in memory of my high school teacher the year I graduated high school. We reconnected after I published my first book in 2013. My wife and I visited he and his wife on an irregular basis, even during their years in a retirement home. He died last year, predeceased by his wife two years previously. In a strange coincidence, my current wife had known his wife from her years in training as a nurse at the Sherbrooke Hospital. She was a physiotherapist and an instructor to the course. Each made a contribution to our development and for that I was saying "thank you".

I say "thank you" to all my peri friends who have gone on before as it was a great pleasure to have interacted with you.
