A letter from the Editor.
I personally retired in May of 1995. This May will be 30 years since I left the CAF and said goodbye to the best Job I ever had. I can say that now since I officially retired right after the year of COVID. I had many jobs and held many positions from Greens Keeper to Group Manager for a fortune one hundred company. None of them compared to my 12 years as a PERI. Most of my working memories come from that 12 years spent in the trade. It's during these special times that our fondest memories are brought to the fore and one finds themselves reminiscing about the past. What makes this Website special for me is when I start thinking about yester-year and I can't remember a name or face I duck into the forum pages and look up an old Christmas Card from back then to help me out. That usually kicks off about 20-30 minutes of rooting around on the site checking out course photos and more Christmas Cards generating more memories most of which bring
another smile or two. Let me end this by saying thank you to everyone that made our trade go. There may have been comparable trades to ours but there were non better.
