I don't know why I thought you would only find bald eagles in the Alberta Rockies and BC Coastal regions but my information was incorrect. Here's the proof. A Female and Young Adult were basking in the sunshine around 9:30 am. Pam was able to get off a couple of quick shots with her IPhone before they took off down the St. Lawrence river. Cool thing is, they flew into the Sun before banking west and with a couple flaps of their wings they were but a speck in the distance. What a beautiful bird.

Yes Dan, they are something else again. My wife and I were up close and personal while in Alaska. I collect anything eagle. My first was a print I bought in Haines, Alaska. A portrait of an Indian woman, with the head of an eagle on her head and wings draped around her features. Since then I have collected miniatures, collect plates, pictures, fridge magnet, hanging tapestries, A greeting board at our front door with Kathryn's and my name. Kathryn did a count and she found 102 artifacts. She says no more, but if we are at a garage sale, she always finds one more. I have a five foot floor lamp with four sides and a print the height…
A beautiful raptor indeed.
